I have received a lot of requests and inquiries regarding wedding photography but just haven’t gone into that section of photography yet as my kids are still so young and it can be difficult to get away for extended periods of time. I’ve always thought they would be something I would love to do though and after just having a little fun at my cousins wedding, I know that I would! And I’ll say it was fun to be able to photograph AND still be a part of the party!
So, like I said, I was a guest as this wedding and so I didn’t take tons of photos…I just wanted to grab a few so that my cousin and his new wife, whom I adore, could have some pictures from me. They had 3 photographers there so I knew that they would get the shots they needed and I didn’t want to step on the other photographers toes, so I stayed out of the way and just took some candids and pictures of things/people that I knew the couple would love since I know them! So with that, I didn’t get any posed bride/groom/family portraits….but I did get most of the ceremony! The only hard part was taking pictures from my seat and only having that one angle and staying seated lol! But I made it work.
The wedding was absolutely beautiful and Nadine was just stunning. The wedding and reception took place at Eagle Ridge in Gilroy, California.
My sweet little girl, Lilly, was a flower girl! So of course, I took oodles of pictures of her in her “white princess married dress” as she calls it!![]()
I hope you all enjoy the pictures and Jon and Nadine, we love you both! Congratulations and enjoy the honeymoon!
I started taking pictures of Lilly just hanging around as we were waiting for the wedding to star….I caught this sweet moment of my dad and Lilly!![]()

While I was taking pictures of Lilly, I saw my Uncle Bill (the groom’s dad) standing there while holding the ring bearer’s, Lucas, hand…I thought it was super sweet.

Isn’t she beautiful!??!!? Nadine looked absolutely radiant! I grabbed this picture in the bridal suite where the girls were waiting till the wedding started! This was taken about 10 minutes before she walked down the aisle.

It’s not the perfect image but I LOVE this shot. I’m not entirely sure what Nadine is showing her dad but I am betting that it is a picture or some kind of trinket in remembrance of her mom who passed away recently. Just thinking of that moment and the words that followed about Nadine’s mom at the reception during speeches brings tears to my eyes.

My grandma and grandpa…aren’t they just adorable! And how great do they look!?! They have 3 kids of their own, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren!![]()

The mother and father of the groom! My Aunt Laura was so cute..the wedding made her tear up and I thought it was incredibly sweet.

And when I saw Jon’s reaction to his mom crying, I started to getting teary eyed and had a difficult time looking through my viewfinder!

And when Lilly came down the aisle, I really, really had a hard time focusing! She looked so so cute and I just started welling up…almost as if imaging that one day it would be her walking down the aisle. This picture cracks me up too because the ring bearer, Lucas, knew what to do, he walked down the aisle and was all good and he turned around because the girls were not with him and Lilly is standing there trying to get the other little girl, Larkin, to walk down the aisle with her but Larkin was not feeling it! LOL.

Lilly proceeded on without her and carefully made sure to put the flowers in the most perfect spots according to her. It was precious!

And here comes the bride!

The look on Jon’s face when he first saw Nadine was absolutely priceless. You could see and feel all the love he has for her in that very moment.

She looked absolutely amazing. Just radiant.

As the ceremony began, the pastor announced that Jon and Nadine wanted to light a candle in memory of Nadine’s mother. It was a beautiful and touching moment. Nadine’s mom had the best seat in the house and I know that she was sending her love to them both throughout the entire day.

The best man, Jon’s brother, Trevor and Nadine’s Maid of Honor, Nichole.

The kiss!![]()

The New Mr. and Mrs. Foote!

One quick smooch at the end of the aisle!
LOVE it!

After the ceremony, while people were waiting around for portraits, I grabbed a quick candid of Nadine and her dad.

And also grabbed a quick shot of my cousin Trevor and his girlfriend, Hana.

After that, while the bride and groom and bridal party were out taking pictures, Lilly and my family headed in to the cocktail hour and relaxed for a bit. Once we got into the reception dining hall, I grabbed a few little detail shots.

While we were in the dining hall waiting for the bridal party to make their entrance, we hung out and had a blast. Lilly LOVED the bubbles that were given as a favor!![]()

And I grabbed some quick shots of some of the other guests at the wedding!

And here they come! The proud mom and dad of the groom!
The very excited big brother and best man, Trevor!
And the new Mr. and Mrs.

And just as ever…boys will always be boys! Jon catching some of Lilly’s bubbles while Nadine smiles looking as beautiful as ever!
Jon’s little sister, Taylor and her boyfriend, Joey.
Speeches! I could hardly take pictures during this time. They were all so very touching.

I had to get Lilly home so I wasn’t able to stay for the first dance, cake cutting, etc. which was a bummer but it was WAY past Lilly’s bed time and we had a bit of drive home to San Jose! We had so much fun though! And that is my over share! I have so many more but I’ll stop there! Congratulations to the happy couple! We love you Jon and Nadine!
