Hi! Thanks for visiting me! I’m Heather, a portrait and wedding photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I am a wife to an amazing and funny man and a mom to two beautiful little girls, Lilly and Haley. We have 1 pup…Harley, who we rescued almost 5 years ago from the animal shelter and she is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. She is a mut; 1/2 australian shepherd, 1/4 pitbull and 1/4 boxer. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have been blessed with such a great family and to be given the opportunity to pursue my passion of photography.
Photography isn’t about capturing the best composition, or perfect depth of field to me…it’s about capturing true emotion, memories and moments that should never be forgotten; to be able to freeze those moments in a photograph is amazing and I love being able to be apart of freezing those special moments for everyone.
Other than photography:
I love cupcakes. Like seriously love. If you’ve never been to Icing on the Cake in Los Gatos, you must go and get yourself a banana cupcake. Seriously, it’s heaven!
My favorite candy is salt water taffy. I have to get some from the Candy Baron every single time we visit Monterey! YUM!
I love diet coke. Cupcake (or two!) and a diet coke…yes please!![]()
I love the rain and puddle jumping with my oldest daughter.
I’ve always been into sports. I am a huge basketball, baseball and softball fan. I played basketball and softball in high school (and before…I literally played year round and my parents took me to tournament after tournament…we were always busy with sports!) and even continued softball in college on a scholarship. In fact, I met my husband, Aaron, in Omaha, Nebraska while attending school at Creighton University. He was there to play baseball and I was there for softball (and learn! LOL)….we were both from San Jose, went to rival high schools and had mutual friends but we didn’t meet until we traveled a little more than 2000 miles away from home to attend college. It was just fate, and with us really, as they say, the rest is history!
